RCS Newsletter Feb 14th-18th
Happy Sunday Wolverine Parents and Students!
This is Dr. Sanders, your Assistant Principal with this week’s announcements: We are excited to see our students this week. On tomorrow, Monday, February 14th Kindergarten through 6th Grade Classrooms will celebrate Valentine’s Day with holiday parties in the afternoon. In doing so, parents of students may send classroom Valentine Party Snacks that are ONLY store-bought and NOT homemade OR home-baked. Due to our Allergy Policy and peanut food allergies, please be mindful of students with dietary restrictions.
As a REMINDER…The NC Check-ins2 ELA and Math Tests will be administered from February 15th through February 18th to both 5th and 6th-grade students promptly at 9:00am. Students arriving after 8:30am will not be able to test. Students must get plenty of rest the night before and arrive at school on time to test.
SECOND, the Admissions Re-Enrollment Applications were sent home and must be returned to CONFIRM your student’s re-enrollment for the new school year. New sibling admissions enrollment applications of CONFIRMED re-enrolled students will automatically be grandfathered in.
THIRD, the Parent-Teacher Conference schedule has been published, be sure to sign up for the timeslot that works best for you. Your student’s teacher will call and confirm your date and time once you have signed up.
FOURTH, 3rd Quarter Interim Progress Reports will be sent home with students on February 25th. As a REMINDER, February 18th is the last day that students can submit missing assignments for the 3rd Quarter Interim Grading Period.
Last, we will continue to ENFORCE the wearing of MASKS to help slow the spread of the Omicron Virus to others. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Students experiencing a runny nose, headaches, and stomach aches CAN NOT return to school without a negative Covid Test Result as these are Covid Symptoms. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow at THE VIEW. Have a great Superbowl Sunday and Happy Valentine’s Day!
